As the video began to play, Leila was surprised to find that it was a recording of herself. The footage was from a few months ago, during a trip she took to the beach. She had a blast that day, enjoying the sun, sand, and sea with her friends. However, the video wasn't just any ordinary recording; it was an exceptionally well-produced short film that captured her in moments of pure joy and spontaneity.
The identity of the filmmaker remained a mystery, but Leila felt a deep gratitude towards them. They had shown her that life was full of hidden moments waiting to be discovered and appreciated. Inspired by the videos, Leila started to explore her creative side, beginning to write her own stories and even experiment with filmmaking.
Leila was both astonished and touched by the video. She felt seen and appreciated in a way she hadn't experienced before. The video highlighted her carefree spirit and the beauty of her everyday life, aspects she often overlooked in her daily hustle. 720p-leila-23-naughty-to-discover.mp4
The creator of the video, as the credits rolled, was revealed to be a talented but anonymous filmmaker who had been following Leila and her friends during their beach trip. The filmmaker had a unique eye for capturing the essence of their subjects, turning ordinary moments into something extraordinary.
Leila was on a journey of self-discovery, thanks to these mysterious videos. She realized that there was beauty in her everyday actions, and that sometimes, all it took was a different perspective to appreciate them. The videos also made her more aware of her surroundings and the people in her life, encouraging her to live more mindfully. As the video began to play, Leila was
In the end, Leila's life was a testament to the power of perspective and the beauty that could be found when one was open to discovering the magic in the everyday. The file name that once seemed odd had become a symbol of her journey towards a more fulfilling and creatively rich life.
One sunny afternoon, while Leila was organizing her digital files on her laptop, she stumbled upon a file that caught her eye. The file name, "720p-leila-23-naughty-to-discover.mp4," seemed odd to her. She had no recollection of creating such a file, nor did she remember downloading it. Intrigued, Leila decided to play the video, wondering if it might be a mysterious gift from a friend or a mistakenly sent file from someone. However, the video wasn't just any ordinary recording;
As Leila pondered the existence of this video and its creator, a series of events unfolded that would change her perspective on life and creativity. The filmmaker, who remained anonymous, began to send Leila more videos, each capturing different moments from her life. There was the "720p-leila-cooking-a-storm.mp4," showcasing her culinary adventures, and the "1080p-leila-reading-under-the-stars.mp4," which beautifully depicted her love for literature and stargazing.

Hi Ben,
Great article and a very comprehensive provisioning guide! Things are moving very fast at snom and the snom 7xx devices (except currently the 715) are now supplied automatically as “Lync ready” and can be easily provisioned straight out of the box. A simple command of text into the Lync Powershell and voila!
You can find all the details here:

Hi Jason, Thanks. It’s good to hear that’s an option, this post was based off a mini customer deployment we had a few months ago…
(Also can’t wait to test out the upcoming BToE implementation)
Ben
Hi Ben,
just stumbled across your great article. Please note the guide still available (now) here:
http://downloads.snom.com/snomuc/documentation/2012-02-06_Update-Guide-SIP-to-UC.pdf
is kind of superseded by the fact that for about 2-3 years the carton box FW image (still standard SIP) supports the UC edition documented MS hardcoded ucupdates-r2 record:
“not registered”: In this state the device uses the static DNS A record ucupdates-r2. as described in TechNet “Updating Devices” under: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg412864.aspx.
In short: zero-touch with DNS alias or A record is possible. SIP FW will not register but ask for the CAB upload based UC FW and auto-pull it if approved (but only if device was never registered: fresh from box or f-reset).
btw: the SIP to UC guide was made as temporally workaround, but I guess the XML templates still provide a good start line.
Also kind of superseded with Lync Inband Support for Snom settings:

http://www.myskypelab.com/2014/08/lync-snom-phone-manager.html
another great tool – powershell on steroids with Snom UC & SIP: http://realtimeuc.com/2014/09/invoke-snomcontrol/
(a must see !)
Please dont mind if I was a bit advertising.
Thanks and greetings from Berlin, also to @Nat,
Jan
Fantastic article! Thanks for sharing. We’ll be transitioning our Snom 760s to provision from Lync shortly.
Are there any licensing concerns involved?
Thanks Susan,
From a licensing point of view you need to make sure you have the UC license for the SNOM phones and on the Lync side if you are doing Enterprise Voice need a Plus CAL for the user concerned…
Hope that helps?
Ben
Thanks Jan 🙂
Thanks for the licensing info. It helps a lot!
