Frustrated that Hiro isn't the "real Hiro," Espimon runs away but ends up helping Ruli’s friend, Aoi. He uses a special key to unlock her from the floor, but this violates a contract he has with a powerful Digimon.

Ruli investigates an apartment building where residents are being evicted from certain floors. Digimon have claimed the building as their home and are physically separating humans from their living spaces by creating graphic "keyholes" in their bodies.
