Douglas Ad Skyraider May 2026

The (later redesignated the A-1 ) is often described as a "piston-powered anachronism" that defied the Jet Age. Designed by Ed Heinemann during World War II, it arrived just too late for that conflict but became a legend through its service in Korea and Vietnam. A Multipurpose Workhorse
