"Zoinks!" Shaggy yelped, dusting orange sand off his shirt. "I don't think we're in Coolsville anymore, Scoob."

Bugs smirked. "A ghost, eh? You mean that spooky fella in the sheet over at the old opera house? He’s been keepin’ Yosemite Sam up all night with his caterwauling."

Suddenly, a hole appeared in the ground—not a real hole, but a black circle painted on the sand. Out popped Bugs Bunny, munching on a carrot. "Eeeh, what’s up, docs? You look a little lost. Take a wrong turn at Albuquerque?"

Scooby opened his paws to find a perfectly normal carrot. He took a bite and made a face. "Reh. Needs more mustard."

Back at the opera house, the "ghost" appeared—a towering, glowing phantom that let out a blood-curdling moan. Fred signaled the trap. "Now, Bugs!"

Back in the real world, the gang sat in silence for a moment.

"Say, Fred," Shaggy asked, "did that rabbit really give Scooby a gold carrot?"

The crossover of the century was in motion. While Fred and Bugs laid out an elaborate trap involving a giant magnet and a box of "Free Ghost Seeds," Shaggy and Scooby found themselves at a nearby diner with Daffy Duck.
