25 years after faking his death in a car crash, rock legend Eddie Wilson (Michael Paré) is living as a construction worker named Joe West in Montreal. When his old record label launches a massive "Eddie Lives!" marketing campaign to sell unreleased tapes, Eddie's anger and passion for music are reignited. He forms a new band, Rock Solid , and begins a journey to reclaim his musical legacy while hiding his true identity from his new bandmates.
