Set 29 years after the original events, the story follows teenagers Becca and Izzy who accidentally light a new during a 16th birthday ritual. This act resurrects Winifred, Sarah, and Mary Sanderson, who immediately seek revenge on the descendants of Reverend Traske—specifically the town's current mayor.
