Centuries ago, a young shaman's daughter named Weol-ju (played by Park Si-eun) is summoned to heal the Crown Prince's dreams. Despite her success, rumors lead to a tragedy that results in her mother's death and Weol-ju’s own suicide at a sacred tree.

As punishment for her sins, Weol-ju (now played by Hwang Jung-eum) must settle the grudges of 100,000 souls to avoid hell. She runs a pojangmacha (outdoor bar) with Manager Gwi , but with only 10 cases left and a looming one-month deadline from the Underworld, she is desperate for new customers.
