The episode kicks off with a classic Ice King scheme. Tired of being rejected, he decides the best way to make his best friends is to use a "paralyzing potion" on them. He freezes them completely—save for their eyes and mouths—so they have no choice but to hang out and bond with him.

Even when paralyzed, their ability to coordinate and find a way out shows why they are the ultimate team.
