While searching the crime scene, Jane Rizzoli and Vince Korsak discover a man hiding in the bushes who attempts to bite Korsak. This witness, nicknamed "McGruff," is suffering from a psychotic break and believes he is a wolf. Maura Isles takes a clinical approach, nursing his wounded hand and attempting to win his trust to gain a statement that might identify the sniper.
