Nic is questioned by Dr. Wallace Damon (Laurence Fishburne), an enigmatic figure in a hazmat suit who claims the group was exposed to an "Extra-terrestrial Biological Entity" (EBE).

While traveling, the group attempts to track down a rival hacker known as Nomad , leading them to an abandoned house in the Nevada desert.
